Synopsis

Police enter the Hatbox Lounge in Los Angeles looking for the owner, Ernie Pulaski. As they question Pete, the night bartender, Pulaski enters the bar and falls over dead, a knife in his back. Pete relates the events which led to Pulaski's death: Jerry Slone, kept as a gigolo by Elaine Conway, is hired by Pulaski, a syndicate head who supplies women to buyers around the country. Jerry's duty is to seduce young women, who are then sent to Mama Lupo's castle for "conditioning." Jerry and Pulaski's daughter, Allison, begin an affair, and Jerry decides to rid himself of Elaine by turning her over to the sex ring. Pulaski orders him to bring her directly to the castle, and for the first time he becomes aware of the brutal "conditioning" process. Elaine is taken to a dungeon where she is tied to a bed and raped. Mama Lupo then interrupts the whipping of a favorite "slave" to administer heroin to Elaine and sexually abuse her. The depravity unnerves Jerry, and he makes a confession to Allison. She forgives him, but as they make love they are interrupted by Pulaski, who, in a rage, castrates Jerry and sends his daughter to the castle. There, Allison foments a rebellion. The "slaves" take their revenge on Mama Lupo and her henchmen, and Allison knifes her father in the back.
