Notes

This was a German-language version of the 1929 film Fashions in Love. While the English-language version, which was directed by Victor Schertzinger and starred Adolphe Menjou and Fay Compton, was made by Paramount in Hollywood, the German version was produced at Paramount's studios in Joinville, France. In addition, a French-language version, entitled Delphine, was produced at Joinville; however, no information has been located concerning any showings of that version in the U.S. The French version was directed by Roger Capellani and starred Henri Garat and Alice Cocea. The German version was approved for showing in New York State in 1932, according to NYSA records. Variety stated that the play, seven years earlier, had been the "great box office hit of the German stage." In 1921, Goldwyn Pictures released a film based on the same source entitled The Concert, which was also directed by Victor Schertzinger and starred Lewis S. Stone and Myrtle Stedman. A 1956 German film based on the same source, entitled Nichts als Aerger mit der Liebe, a Heinrich Bauer-Wiener Mundus Film Co. production, was directed by Thomas Engel and starred Victor de Kowa and Winnie Markus.
