Synopsis

In an animal compound in the Malayan jungle, Dr. Ben Martin and his wife, Dr. Ann Soong, nurse back to health a jungle boy wounded by the fearful Bomoh natives. Although abducted and taken to Singapore by unscrupulous reporter Tony Street, the boy escapes into the city streets. Returned by the police to the doctors, the boy is asked by a sultan to help bring penicillin to the northern part of his province, where superstitious natives suffering from a dysentery epidemic are cut off from civilization by the Bomohs. After several days' journey through the dense jungle, the boy, the sultan, and the doctors arrive in the infected kampong. Convinced of the trespassers' goodness by the boy's power over wild animals, the Bomoh medicine man allows the doctors to inject penicillin into the villagers. The natives cured, the boy returns to the jungle.
