Synopsis

Dry Valley Johnson, a middle-aged cowboy tired of punching cattle, sells his ranch and buys a strawberry farm in Connecticut where he meets a spunky young girl with whom he immediately falls in love. Surmising that she does not like his western dress, Dry Valley purchases a new wardrobe of city clothes, complete with patent leather shoes. As uncomfortable as he is, Dry Valley courts her in his finery until he discovers that the girl considers his outfit a joke, whereupon he feels irreparably hurt and vows to have nothing more to do with her. Once again dressed in his western clothes, Dry Valley is working around his farm when the girl chances upon him and they are happily reunited.
