Synopsis
Inventor Frank Draper has developed a powerful new explosive that he plans to give to the United States government. Foreign agents covet the invention, however, and as a result, after kidnapping Frank, they give him a choice which they believe to be no choice at all: Frank must hand over the plans for the bomb, or face execution. Surprising the agents, Frank decides that the safety of his country is more important than his life, and so he prepares to sacrifice himself for the United States. All the time that he has been held hostage, however, Frank has been in secret contact with his sweetheart, Helen Lowell, and just before his execution, government agents who have been alerted by Helen arrive to rescue him. As a reward for his loyalty, Tom is made a high-ranking government official, after which he makes plans to marry Helen.
