Synopsis

When a new pastor is faced with the rehabilitation of his run-down church, he chooses to use the parable of The Five Talents, from the New Testament of the Bible, Matthew XXV, as a new model of worship. The parable outlines that everyone has talents and must "invest" those talents wisely, as you would material goods, but in charitable ways. After gaining approval from the church board, the pastor hands five dollars to each member of the congregation one Sunday. His congregation rises to the challenge by multiplying their talents for good and then rejoices in their success.
