Notes

The working title of this film was Project No. 5. The following information was taken from a August 21, 1948 article in New York Amsterdam News: Producer Byron O. Anderson produced No Time for Romance as the first of a proposed series of six "all-Negro cast pictures." Because Anderson's production company, Norwanda Pictures, Inc., was not yet fully developed, Anderson funded the film personally, and planned to set up an organization with which to distribute Norwanda films on the West Coast. The cast comprised of forty-six African-American actors and actresses. No additional information on the film has been found.
