According to a December 14, 1950 Film Daily article, the film was to be released as For Women Only, but the title was subsequently changed. Modern sources add Ginger Prince and Myrna Dell to the cast. According to a January 19, 1955 Hollywood Reporter news item, a Cleveland group that invested in Secrets of Beauty sold their interest in the film to producer Kroger Babb. Though the film had been market tested and was released in the U.K. in 1954 under the title Why Men Leave Home, no specific American release date has been found.
