Synopsis
Pancho, the manager of a small cabaret, tells striptease dancer Rita that a new, rich customer is coming to see the show and they must relieve him of a wad of money or the club will have to close. Meanwhile, two down-and-outs, Harry and Snuffy, plan to enter the club with a wad of phony money and get free food and drink. When the bill is presented they intend to have a dispute as to who will pay it then challenge each other to a fight in the alley. Once outside, they will run off. Pancho mistakes Snuffy for the rich customer and, between routines by the club's striptease dancers, they are plied with food, drink and the attentions of Rita and her friend Carmen. When it comes time to pay the bill, their proposed routine goes awry when Harry says it is fine if Snuffy pays the bill. They then relate hard luck stories so effectively that Rita and Carmen pay the bill and even Pancho gives them money. Later, one of the girls presents Pancho with a wad of bills she has taken from the real, rich customer.
