Synopsis

On a burlesque club stage, a number of women, including Charmette and Amber Dawn, perform dances and strip to musical accompaniment. A comedy duo then performs a routine centering on a play on words before presenting a skit about on a romantic potion made from the essence of poppies. The comedians are followed by a dance and strip performance by Joan Bridges. Another comedy sketch follows in which a hold-up man demonstrates to a dimwitted man how he evaded arrest by telling the police a hard-luck story. The man repeats the process and successfully gets money from his would-be victim and the policeman only to lose the money when he forms a partnership with the policeman. The sketch is followed by dance and strip performances by Betty Briggs, Tegorie and Pat Flannery. Another comedy sketch follows of a man attempting to teach guitar lessons to a mute woman, a deaf old man, a blind woman and a bumbler. The show closes with two more dance numbers, the high point a strip dance routine performed by Mickey Award winner Tempest Storm.
