Synopsis

Edison summary: An old man is asleep in a chair which is tilted back against a shed. His two grandsons come into view, and being very mischievous, decide to play a trick on their aged relative. They procure a plank, a block and a pail of water. The plank is placed across the block so that one end is under the old man's feet and the pail of water on the other. One of the boys climbs up behind his grandfather and proceeds to tickle him with a straw. After several vain attempts to chase the "flies," he jumps up hastily from the chair onto the plank. His end of the plank is forced down and the end with the water pail up. Result, a ducking for the old fellow and a spanking for the boys.
