Bathing Made Easy

Synopsis
Edison summary: Two swimmers appear on the edge of a beautiful river, evidently having come prepared for a swim, as, upon removing their clothing, they are seen to be attired in bathing suits. They dive head first into the water, and from this point on the action of the film is reversed, producing very comical effects. The bathers spring backwards out of the water, feet first, and each article of clothing jumps up from the ground and flies into its place, causing shrieks of laughter.
Lubin summary: Two men arrive on the banks of a river and proceed to disrobe preparatory to a plunge in the cool water. They divest themselves of their clothing, having prepared themselves with trunks under their outer garments before they left home. Plunging into the water they swim about for some time and then the fun commences. They come out of the water backward feet first. Their clothes meet them half way and in no time they are fully dressed. It is amusing to see a shirt rise from the ground and present itself to the owner thereof who proceeds to get on the inside of it. One man is seen to smoke a pipe continually, never removing it from his mouth even when he is in the water. This is laughable.
