Synopsis

Méliès summary : This is a moving picture that moves. Positively the greatest magical picture ever offered. A Hindoo magician appears and dances for the entertainment of six pretty maidens. Then, to the astonishment of all, he runs up the wall, dances and turns handsprings in mid-air, introducing many tricks that are entirely new in animated photography. The most puzzling of all the mystical series.
Lubin summary: This is a decided novelty. A man dressed in Cossack uniform, enters and is immediately surrounded by a party of pretty damsels. He dances a few steps and immediately walks up the wall, much to the astonishment of his audience. He returns to the floor and after dancing again, he mounts the wall and even walks on the ceiling, in fact, he imitates the fly in a most successful manner. Wonderful.
