Synopsis
Biograph summary: Alphonse and Gaston, the well-known Opper creations, assist a fair but veiled female across a muddy street a la Sir Walter Raleigh. After their coats have been ruined they discover that their heroine is a negress. The scene is well acted, and very humorous in its denouement.
