Notes
Although a print of this film was not viewed, the above plot and song information was taken from a cutting continuity deposited with the NYSA. No release date information was found, but according to NYSA records, the picture was submitted for censorship review in New York on March 25, 1947. NYSA records from 1947 list the film's footage as 3,876 feet (43 minutes), "with eliminations." According to a November 1949 NYSA memo, written by Motion Picture Inspector Arthur F. Boyce, a projectionist alerted Boyce to a trailer for this film which "displayed colored girl in dance that showed improper movements of the body." Boyce mentioned the incident to illustrate his contention that previews "should come under our review service," but added that under the current laws, no action could be taken on the questionable preview. Modern sources add Helen Barys, The Eight Black Streaks, The Lindy Hoppers, Scott and Whaley and the Swanee Swingsters to the cast.
