Synopsis

Beatrice, a young circus ballerina, is fascinated by Rudy, a handsome tiger trainer, and hopes to dance in the tiger cage while he performs his act. She gets her chance, however, only when he leaves to join another circus, and his replacement allows her to join the act. One night one of the tigers goes berserk, and Beatrice's life is saved by Cameron, the show's middle-aged sharpshooter. When the tiger act is disbanded, Beatrice agrees to become Cameron's partner. Shortly thereafter, Rudy returns, and Beatrice asks Cameron to release her from her contract. He refuses and again attempts to ruin the rival act by drugging the tigers; his plan is exposed, however, and he kills himself. Beatrice is now free to team up with Rudy.
