Synopsis
Model prisoner Frank Stewart, convicted for burglarizing the Johannesburg Gold Trust, escapes with the assistance of Jock Mackay, the henchman of Wally Lucas. Lucas, the mastermind of the Johannesburg robbery, plans to have the fugitive arrested following his disclosure of the whereabouts of some missing bonds. When Stewart learns that Lucas is living with his wife, Yvonne, while laying his perfidious plans, the convict goes into hiding. In so doing he is assisted by Helen Carr, proprietress of a modeling agency and employer of Stewart's daughter Jean. Abducted by Lucas' gang and fearing for Helen's safety, Stewart discloses that the bonds are hidden in the sewer. During a confrontation in the sewer Lucas and Stewart are arrested by the police, who have been summoned by Helen.
