Synopsis
Edy, the 3-year-old daughter of British Army Captain MacPherson, is abducted by the Thugs of India. Fifteen years later, the British captain commands an expedition to exterminate the murderous tribe, unaware that his daughter has been ceremonially invested as a virgin handmaiden in the temple of the goddess Kali. Meanwhile, a young snake hunter meets and falls in love with the young woman before he is captured by the Thugs. As punishment, he is ordered to kill MacPherson; if he fails, Edy will be sacrificed to Kali. The snake hunter and the captain unite against the Thugs, kill Souyadhana, their leader, and rescue Edy.
