Synopsis

Visiting the site of her fiancé's death in the 1948 Palestinian War, American gentile Susan meets and falls in love with her betrothed's best friend, Dan. Although he works in a potash factory, Dan is also an Israeli gunrunner. When ambushed by Arab terrorist Salim, Dan is given refuge by Daoud, Salim's father. Salim promptly lays siege to his father's house. In the ensuing battle the terrorist is killed. Wounded by Salim, Dan is comforted by Susan.
