Synopsis

Snow White and Rose Red live with their mother in a cottage in the woods near a castle owned by two princes. In the same forest lives a wicked dwarf with magical powers who steals jewels from the castle. One day the princes see the dwarf stealing a load of jewels, and they chase him into the woods, where the dwarf turns one of the princes into a big brown bear. Snow White and Rose Red find the bear and shelter him from the winter and the hunters. A short time later, the enchanted prince again sees the dwarf carrying another sack of stolen treasures and chases him to the top of a high cliff. Unwilling to abandon the jewels, the wicked dwarf loses his balance and falls from the cliff. His death releases the evil spell, and the prince and his brother bring Snow White and Rose Red to their castle as their brides.
