Synopsis

Abram returns to his village after serving a term in jail for an offense involving homosexuality. Abram only wants to take up his job as a mechanic, but Hannelore, a former girl friend, wants to marry him. Hannelore claims to be pregnant by Abram, although in reality she does not know the identity of the father. When Abram gives the village idiot a ride on his bicycle, he is accused by the villagers of taking sexual liberties with the boy. Finally, Abram runs away from the village, pursued by Hannelore, whose persistence so enrages him that he strangles her. The villagers, eager to claim the reward, set out to capture him.
