Synopsis
Seven young women who have graduated from Madame Degrelle's exclusive international boarding school in Switzerland set out on a cargo boat to vacation in the southern latitudes. Along the way, the girls enjoy the company of the ship's crew. Arriving at a southern port, they go dancing at the Blue Lagoon, and Liz, a graduate from South America, meets Manuel Cahilez. Anxious to see Liz again, Manuel invites the students to visit the meteorological station he operates on isolated Amazon Island where he lives with his father. Returning to the station Manuel learns that his father has found a crashed airplane with a cargo of gold ingots. Manuel goes to the mainland to report his father's discovery. He is overheard by Murdok, a gangster, who, with his accomplices Leblanc, Costa, and Chen-Fu, rushes to the island to steal the ingots. Murdok shoots Manuel's father, but Manuel escapes. At this moment, the girls arrive at the island. Seeing the meteorological station on fire, Liz, her sister Trixi, and the courageous Merci leave the other girls behind on the boat and proceed to the station, where they find Manuel's stricken father. Meanwhile, Murdok and his gang capture the remaining girls and hold them captive on the boat. Manuel finds Liz, and together they set out to rescue the girls. Murdok shoots Leblanc, who has attempted to cheat him. In the meantime, the captives attempt to ward off the advances of the drunken Costa and Chen-Fu, and Pat performs an exciting dance to distract their attention. Manuel and Liz then arrive on the scene and subdue Costa and Chen-Fu, but Murdok flees in a dinghy and is shot by police.
