Synopsis

Christine Lambert decides to become a dancer in spite of her parents' disapproval. She is introduced to Max, a photographer who is reputed to be a specialist in the theatrical field. Max sends Christine to Madame Michka for dancing lessons but since she has no money to pay for the lessons Christine is forced to return to Max to pose for him in the nude. At Max's home Christine meets "producer" Daniel Gerard, who asks her to become the star of his revue which will soon tour North Africa. As a publicity stunt, Daniel arranges for Christine's false abduction, and he secretly flies her to Tangiers. Meanwhile, Jean, a newspaper reporter and the fiancé of Christine's sister, Gisèle, suspects that all is not well and begins to search for Christine. In Tangiers, Daniel secures lodgings for Christine in a local cabaret run by Conchita, a madam who immediately undertakes to make Christine a prostitute. Jean arrives in Tangiers just in time to save Christine from being abused by Daniel. Jean is rescued from an unequal fight by the police, and Christine is returned to her family.
