Synopsis
A watchman claiming to have found an unexploded bomb, a relic of World War II, on a building site, notifies Superintendent Halsey, who evacuates the neighborhood. The watchman tells police that he has already alerted a bomb disposal squad, who, in reality, are a gang of bank robbers. Led by Manning, the robbers work on the bank vault as the police innocently keep their distance. The robbery is unexpectedly foiled when Jackie and Mike, a teenage couple who are running away from home, emerge from a half-built house where they have been sleeping. The robbers attempt to escape, but Mike follows them on his motorbike as Jackie calls the police, who eventually apprehend the gang and reward the youngsters.
