Synopsis
Chester von Chester, a renowned scientist who happens to be a chimpanzee, is at work on an invention that is powered by an atomic reactor. His goal is the contruction of a banana-making machine. The reactor explodes, sending Chester through the time barrier and depositing him in the Roaring Twenties. The Dinghy Detective Agency sends seven of its best men out on a search, giving them one clue to Chester's whereabouts: Chester is fond of beautiful women. The first detective looks in a harem where he disguises himself as one of the Sultan's wives. The second sleuth goes out West to check on rumors that Chester is squandering funds at the gaming tables. Chester moves on ahead of his pursuers and discovers a sextet of wood nymphs frolicking in the forests and waters. The detectives close in on the chimp, who escapes into a circus. A rampaging lion forces the detectives into an observation balloon. The balloon rises, thus allowing them to watch unnoticed as a young woman changes clothes in her boudoir. Chester solves the riddle of transporting himself back to the present and goes to work in a factory producing curvaceous women as a reminder of his adventures.
