Synopsis

Careerwoman Julie is sent into hiding when a group of jewel thieves discover that she holds the key to the whereabouts of a cache of $1.5 million worth of stolen jewels. One morning, she awakens under confinement in a hospital, vaguely aware that she has been drugged. Under cover of darkness, she manages to make her escape. She meets Ted and falls in love, but she is forced to flee again as the hoodlums move closer. A sympathetic go-go dancer offers her refuge and draws her into a lesbian affair, but this relationship, too, is interrupted by the threat of approaching danger. Stopping at her apartment to gather her belongings, Julie is captured by the jewel thieves, who take her to their hideout and rape and torture her. Unable to hold out any longer, she reveals the location of the stolen treasure. Returning to their hideout with the booty, the thieves are surprised by Ted, who has secretly followed every move. In the gun battle that follows, all but Julie and Ted meet their deaths. With the reward they receive for the jewels, the lovers begin a new life together.
