Synopsis

Uncle Chug has been living in the rural South with his common-law wife, Linda, for 5 years when their relationship is suddenly threatened by the arrival of Chug's sensuous niece, Jonelle. Competition arises between the two women for Chug's love and money, although Linda reminds Chug that she can prove the legality of their common-law marriage with a motel receipt from the first night they spent together. Jonelle, who is interested only in the money, performs a striptease in a restaurant and becomes involved with Bull, the local moonshiner. The two kill Uncle Chug by poisoning his whiskey. Linda realizes that Jonelle was at least partially responsible for Chug's death, and, after conning Jonelle into riding to see her "dying" uncle, Linda pushes her out of the car and shoots her. Linda then kills herself by drinking the poisoned whiskey.
