Synopsis
Ed, a respectable accountant and family man, "drops out" when he discovers that his wife has been unfaithful. Abandoning his mate, home, and job, he goes to the Swingers' Club and later attends a mate-swapping party with a topless dancer from the club. He joins in the activities--drinking, nude dancing, pornographic films, and sex--until the sight of a pair of quarreling newlyweds who have just swapped mates with another couple shocks him, and he leaves. Micky, a voluptuous redhead who lives communally with a group of outcasts, introduces him to marijuana and the hippie lifestyle. One day, however, a sadist is accidentally killed while raping a virgin, and Ed realizes that he must come to grips with himself. He meets Lisa, a waitress in a coffee house, and they fall in love and marry after he rescues her from the clutches of a group of sex cultists who want her to be their "sacrificial virgin."
