Synopsis

Alberto, the son of a police commissioner, falls in love with Suzanne, a young woman who, desperate for money, lures wealthy, unsuspecting men to parties at Bernardo's castle. Bernardo is a cardsharp who uses drugs and liquor to dull the skills of those whom he lures into crooked games of chance. Suzanne falls in love with Fernando, a rich playboy to whom she becomes secretly engaged. Bernardo learns from the evil Wilma that Suzanne plans to tell Fernando that he was cheated at cards, and, at Wilma's instigation, Suzanne is killed. Alberto, the prime suspect, is arrested and taken to the police station. Alberto's father believes in his innocence and conducts a special investigation of the crime. Alberto escapes from jail and searches out Tony, a wastrel member of Bernardo's gang. Alberto confronts Tony and goads him into confessing to the crime. The police raid the castle, and Tony, Wilma, and Bernardo are arrested.
