Synopsis
Paul Gregory, a successful songwriter who has lofty aspirations, is blind and is unaware that his wife, Anne, is having an affair with Rickie Seldon, an artist who is painting her portrait. The two plot for Rickie to murder Paul so that Anne may inherit his money. Paul's secretary Joan, who is secretly in love with him, and his agent Mike Williams are keeping secret Anne's infidelity so as not to hurt Paul. It is revealed that Mike is Anne's real lover, and they have planned for Rickie to be discovered by the police just after he has murdered Paul. But Paul foils his wife's scheme; the plotters are arrested; and Paul leaves on a cruise with Joan.
