Synopsis

With the passage of the Street Offenses Bill, prostitutes were driven from London streets and into the numerous clubs that sprang up as covers for prostitution. This film depicts those clubs, including striptease clubs and clip joints, and the many chorus girls who are lured into prostitution hoping to find fame and fortune. The call girl system is depicted in all its facets: prostitutes entice passing men, massage parlors become a place for peddling vice, and luxurious nightclubs provide a "hostess service" for businessmen with large expense accounts. It becomes apparent that professional prostitutes find it difficult to change their way of life and prefer to gamble on evading the law.
