Synopsis

Aki suspects her executive husband, Katayuki, of infidelity when he is actually carrying on a mild flirtation with Misako, the younger sister of a deceased friend. Aki meets Misako and her suspicions deepen after Katayuki admits he does like the younger woman. Convinced her husband is about to desert her, Aki takes up with Tatsumi, a young sculptor. Misako sees them together, and is only too happy to announce to Katayuki her long standing love for him. Katayuki, realizing he has a very idealistic and confused woman on his hands, refuses her advances, but he does spend a night with her as consolation. Soon, all involved parties are aware of the affairs. Misako and Tatsumi, who have come to realize that they are in love, decide to marry, leaving Katayuki and Aki to solve their own problems.
