Synopsis
An American soldier of fortune penetrates a diamond mine despotically administered by a ruthless gang. When a miner steals a gem, the man is beaten to death before the community. Although his daughter attempts to dissuade him, a stubborn second miner purloins a diamond and subsequently suffers a fatal heart attack. Interrupting the girl's rape by a gang member, the American gives rise to the supposition that he has the gem. Abetted by the local madam, the American and the girl escape. Hoping to wrest the diamond from his possession, the gang orders its lieutenant's mistress to seduce the stranger. Infuriated by her seductive performance at a nightclub, the lieutenant rapes a woman he finds swimming nude at the beach. Discovering the missing diamond, the American confides that he has come to the mine to probe the circumstances surrounding the death of his father, a prisoner at the mine. During a confrontation with the stranger, the band's chief is shot and killed, and its lieutenant stabbed to death by a barmaid he had introduced to narcotics.
