Synopsis

Gunji, president of a maritime trading company, learns of a treasure of 10,000 gold coins left in the Philippines by the Japanese army in the closing days of World War II. He contacts Matsuo, who knows the location of the treasure, and when the man refuses to talk, Gunji has him abducted and brought aboard a boat captained by Gunji's brother. Gunji's driver and his bodyguard complete the group, which lands secretly in the Philippines. Disguised both as Nisei serving in the U. S. Army and Chinese merchants, the men make their way to the mountainous regions of North Luzon, where the Igorots, a tribe of savage headhunters, live. The Japanese fail to find the gold. [Sources leave the conclusion of the film uncertain.]
