Synopsis
Arriving in Frankfurt for a visit with his fiancée, Vera Paterny, Peter Seitz discovers her corpse in her luxury apartment. Vera's former pimp and lover, Alphons Tewes, strongly suggests that Seitz return to Vienna. Ignoring his advice, Seitz consults Harry Schimek, a rival racketeer, who informs him of Vera's past. When Seitz returns to her flat to recover his valise, he is arrested. A gang war between the underworld rivals ensues, in which the prostitutes are stripped and humiliated. Under pressure from police inspector Reinisch, the gangsters launch their own investigation of the murder. Having identified laundry delivery man Dieter Lorenz as the culprit, the band pursues him to a railroad yard, where he is run over by a train.
