Synopsis
In Switzerland, Dr. Holm, a veterinarian and zoologist, reluctantly allows his dog Wolf to be used in a space project to study survival techniques. Years before, the zoologist found the pup in Finland, and the dog led him to Åra, a young woman trapped on the side of a precipice. Although a romance developed between the two, it was complicated by her relationship with a jealous woodsman. The dog is launched, and his capsule lands in a dangerous Arctic terrain near Åra's home. Dr. Holm and the woodsman join in the recovery mission, but after starting a fight with Dr. Holm, the woodsman is killed by wolves. Dr. Holm retrieves his dog and is then reunited with Åra.
