Synopsis
Detective Mike Malone is hired by Mrs. Star to catch her husband with his mistress. Noticing Mr. Star's resemblance to a sketch of a rapist, Malone accepts the case and hides in a closet to watch Star and his paramour make love. Afterward, Star confesses his crimes to the woman and tries to kill her, but Malone intervenes and arrests him. In his next case, Malone is hired by Judy, a secretary to a scientist who is working on a life-prolonging formula. At the laboratory, Malone is approached by a flirtatious maid, who turns out to be a man intent on killing everyone and stealing the formula. With Judy's help, Mike captures the man. After relating these stories to his secretary, Malone takes her out for a drink and later, in his apartment, she accepts his proposal of marriage.
