Synopsis

Taki flees from Japan after taking the blame for a murder committed by Joji, the brother of Reiko, the woman he loved. After 5 years, he returns to Yokohama and learns that Reiko is married to Otaguro, a financier much older than she. Taki has been given a contract by Wang, a man in Hong Kong, to murder Otaguro, who is blocking one of Wang's narcotics deals. Upon further investigation, Taki learns that mobster Uchiyama had ordered Joji to commit the murder for which Taki had been blamed and that Uchiyama had killed Taki's boss and taken over the man's position while Taki was out of the country. Reiko had married Otaguro for money to support Joji, who had promised to give up his life of crime, but instead he had used the money to buy the gold badge required of Uchiyama's henchmen. Taki manages to kill Uchiyama, but he is mortally wounded before he can see Reiko one last time.
