Synopsis
Twenty-three episodes show the bizarre attitudes and activities of European youth: Bertrand Russell interviews a group of English students; Italian students butcher a pig; teenagers ski nude in Switzerland; Parisian artists stage a "happening"; German youngsters visit the Dachau Museum; a student in Heidelberg has his face slashed by a barber in order to produce a scar; women in Glasgow protest free love; a female impersonator applies makeup before performing in a homosexual nightclub in Montparnasse; a rock and roll quartet improvise in a Roman piazza; students in Sweden openly contemplate suicide; parachutists in France pull the ripcord at the last possible moment during free fall and at night hold an orgy in a graveyard; French students stand on top of an ascending elevator to see who has the courage to stay the longest; English motorcyclists race on city streets with little regard for safety; students are hazed in Amsterdam; Italian teenagers hold a wild party on a beach; couples kiss in the streets on Poppy Day in Britain; men from the Royal Ballet perform; a black man and a white woman are married in Sweden; impotent young men in a Swiss clinic are served by attractive nurses who try to arouse them; and Adriano Celentano, a young Italian singing idol, sings "Sad Saturday Night."
