Synopsis

General Hood and Captain Lynch of the Confederate Army instruct Clyde to lead his gang of outlaws against a Union arsenal and steal the gold that is concealed inside sticks of dynamite. Clyde is told by the Confederate officers that he must then kill his own men and return to Confederate headquarters alone. The outlaws manage to get the gold, but Clyde plans to hide it for himself. Before Clyde can carry out his plans, however, they all are captured by Union soldiers and taken to a prison camp run by turncoat Captain Lynch. Tortured by Lynch, who hopes to learn the whereabouts of the stolen gold, they attempt an escape. Only Clyde survives, however, and in a gunfight with Captain Lynch, Clyde kills Lynch and retrieves the gold for himself.
