Synopsis

Henry Clayton, Jr., is sent by his father to visit his estranged mother in Rio de Janeiro. The plane carrying the little boy takes off from Los Angeles and crashes in the Amazon jungles of Peru. Henry survives the crash, but he is captured by a group of Jivaro Indians, descendants of the Incas, who believe the little blonde boy is the son of their god. Riolama, chief of the Jivaro, is distrustful of the boy, however, and wants him dead. Meanwhile, news of the accident has reached Henry's parents, and they rush to Lima to search for their son. A group of Catholic missionaries join their search party in the jungle. As Riolama prepares to sacrifice Henry to the gods, the chief is attacked and killed by a jaguar. [Another source indicates that the little boy's toy tiger becomes real and kills Chief Riolama.] The boy falls into a bed of quicksand and is finally rescued by his father and the rest of the search party.
