Synopsis
A documentary of the two divisions of drag racing--gas and fuel racing--filmed at the National Hot Rod Association's 1964 summer nationals in Indianapolis and the 1965 winter nationals in Phoenix. Footage of a California custom car show is also shown. Racing preparations, both technical and mechanical, are shown along with action taking place in the pit. The film concludes with views of the camping facilities provided at the grounds for participants and spectators who come from all parts of the country to share in the excitement of the races.
