Synopsis

John James English adores Lucy Ward, but she marries the dishonest George Ferris. Despondent, John enlists in the army, while Lucy and George go to Las Vegas to run a mine. George speculates with company funds, and he and two cohorts decide to steal the payroll. Lucy, unable to recognize her masked husband, shoots and kills him during the theft. The commotion brings in troops from a nearby post, and one of the soldiers is John, who pursues George's partners. When he learns that Lucy's husband was involved, however, he lets the men go, and refuses to implicate George. For his silence, John is court-martialed, but at the last minute, Lucy names her husband as the criminal, and because she realizes that she loves John, the two plan their marriage.
