Notes

This is probably a re-edited version of one or more of the short films that Mix made for the Selig Polyscope Co. between 1910 and 1917. Two modern sources refer to a Selig-Mix film entitled Days of Daring, and a contemporary trade article announces Aywon's intention to release a re-edited, re-titled Tom Mix film called In the Days of Daring. The Community Motion Picture Bureau, which viewed In the Days of Daring with Tom Mix in May 1919, lists Aywon as distributor and Security as the production company. Days of Daring played the Symphony Theatre in Los Angeles on May 30, 1920.
