Notes

This was the first and only film made by Hemmer Superior Productions, Inc., which was succeeded by New Superior Productions, Inc. after the completion of the film. Scenes were shot on a Long Island estate near Glen Cove, an orphan asylum in Yonkers, NY, and in Pennsylvania Station in New York City. This was Maud Sylvester's first film. Actress Margaret Beecher was the granddaughter of Henry Ward Beecher, and actor Milton Berlinger, then known as an eleven-year-old impersonator of Al Jolson, later became famous as Milton Berle. The film opened in Kingston, NY in November 1920, but was not released nationally until December 1920.
