Although the film was produced by Eastern Film Corp., according to news items, it was edited and titled by Photo Products Export Co., the state rights distributor which May have been associated with Eastern. Described by a contemporary trade journal as a "Chinese melodrama," it was announced as a December 1920 state rights release, but it is unclear whether the film was in fact released at that time. It May be the same film as The House of Darkened Windows, a 1925 film listed in the AFI Catalog of Feature Films, 1921-30 (F2.2603).
