Synopsis

Jack Kennedy, the brother of Betty Craig's friend Florence, owns a ranch, and when Betty learns that young Jack is short of ranchhands, she makes a bet that she can masquerade as a man and completely fool the cowboys. Posing as Bob Craig, Betty is hired as a cowhand, even though Jack and all of his men see through the disguise. Highly amused, the cowboys force "Bob" to endure all of the rigors and practical jokes reserved for male tenderfoots, but she astonishes them by winning at poker, rounding up a steer, and leveling a gun at two murderous "bandits," actually Jack and cowboy Irish Dave. Betty finally realizes that the joke is on her, and when cattle are reported stolen the next morning, she continues the game, bringing the thief, Miguel Carballo, in at the point of a gun. Learning that he is a notorious outlaw, Betty faints, but Jack's declaration of love speeds her recovery.
