The film was given a pre-release screening in Brooklyn in May 1918, but no information concerning its subsequent release to theaters has been located. Cosmofotofilm Co., which released British films in the United States, was mentioned in the review of the pre-release screening as having its seal on the film. Some scenes were shot at West Point in New York, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD, and Pensacola, FL. Secretary of War Newton D. Baker and Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels appeared in the film.
