Synopsis

Samson Oakley III is the only son of Samson Oakley II, descendent of a house of famous Wall Street financiers. Expelled from college for another's misdeeds, Samson finds himself exiled with a small allowance. After he marries a chorus girl, Samson is disinherited and, while struggling to make a living, discovers that he has a talent for cracking safes. Meanwhile, Wall Street intriguers induce his father to take a cruise, plotting to ruin the old man in his absence by spreading a false rumor of his death and seizing his securities. Samson, hearing of this, comes to his father's office, opens the vault and removes the securities for safekeeping. Upon his return, Samson, Sr. learns that his son has saved the company and thus reinstates him and his new wife in his home and favor once again.
