Synopsis
The dying words of Barbara "Bawbs" Colby's aunt reveal that she had been left five thousand dollars by her late father. The aunt also warns Bawbs against men, who she says will marry her only for her money. Nevertheless, Bawbs falls in love with Ralph Gunther, an author who has come to the Blue Ridge, Bawbs's home, to write. Thinking him a struggling artist, Bawbs gives him her money, but Ralph returns it, writing Bawbs that he himself is wealthy and is returning home to Philadelphia. Bawbs catches up to Ralph, convinced now that he had been sincere when he told her that he loved her. The couple embraces and go to Philadelphia together.
